Grundfos – one of the world’s largest pump manufactures with an annual production of approximately 16 million pump units is headquartered in Bjerringbro, Denmark. Founded in 1945 by Poul Due Jensen, today, the Grundfos Group with more than 15,000 employees is represented by 73 companies in 42 countries with pumps manufactured in 14 Group production companies across the world.

We were invited to Grundfos Singpore for a company visit on 28 April 2010. The passionate employees gave us an overview of the company’s history, vision and goals as well as an informative tour around the company. There was a lot of interaction and communication between the students and the staff. They were happy and helpful to ease our doubts and demonstrated how operations are being managed effectively and efficiently in huge company like Grundfos. It was really a fruitful and eye-opener for me.
